R.A.D Youth Ministry

R.A.D stands for Rooted And Devoted. Our vision is to raise a generation of young people who are deeply rooted in Christ, confident in their identity, and equipped to impact the world through Faith, Service, and Leadership.

Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity. I Timothy 4:12

The F-Factors of R.A.D

1. FAITH: Growing in Christ through worship, the Word, and prayer.

2. FELLOWSHIP: Building meaningful connections with peers and mentors.

3. FORMATION: Developing character, identity, and life skills.

4. FUN: Creating positive, joyful, and memorable experiences.

Rooted Mentoring Group

Ages 5-11

We enhance the educational, physical, and spiritual needs of our youth to become rooted young people in Christ. We guide youth in developing their character and self-esteem as Christ-like children by teaching self-control, discipline, integrity, and having FUN!

Devoted Mentoring Group

Ages 12-17

We develop strong young adults by establishing faith, integrity, accountability, respect, and leadership. We also ensure that our youth understand that they are a part of a community that supports, listens to, and values them. We encourage and direct them according to The Word of God.

YOUTH CHOIR

Ages 5-17

As the youth choir of the New Providence Baptist Church it is our desire to sing praises to the Lord in an effort to bring glory to God, prepare His people for worship, and encourage the saints. It is our desire to live godly lives in the world and be an example of God's light and love wherever we go.

SIGNS OF PRAISE

Ages 5-17

To become a ministry that reaches Individuals both internally and externally. Signs of Praise dancers' overall knowledge of dance technique and terms will increase by means of regular technical instruction and dance term usage. In addition, dancers will gain better knowledge of what liturgical dance is and its purpose.
